Since getting my new camera, I have been wanting to learn all the intracacies and ins and outs of all the features of the thing. I have taken the first step to doing just this. I have registered for a couple of courses at college and am now well in the way to seeing how to take better pictures.
There is a considerable amount to pick up on using an SLR camera and being just a neophyte I am learning at a breakneck pace. Talk about a crash course.
So far I have taken one course and am in the process of taking another. I have found that I really enjoy it and as my talent progresses, it only spurs me on to better things.
Unfortunately like all my hobbies, it is not a cheap one. The camera and lens cost a pretty penny but I am sure it will be worth it in the end and I have taken some pretty spectacular pictures with it so far. Some of them have even been framed and are hanging in the house.
I have posted a small sample of the first photography course that I took. You can check them out by clicking on the link below.
Please leave a comment, I may not be able to respond to them quickly but I do get around to it every now and then. Cheers

Note that I have added a section on to the pages. There is now an Archive pages section that is based on years. Over time I will be transferring the information on the front pages to those archived ones to keep this page loading fairly quickly.Other pages from the Gorham Site that have been retired. Well at least they are dated and no longer current so I have archived them in a special area of the site. If you are really interested be sure to check them out by clicking on the link below.

I have started collecting information on the Gorham Family...well at least my little portion of it anyway. You can check out what I have by visiting my pages through the link below. I have also added a link that will allow you to search the Gorham Site for information on our part of the family. If you are connected to my family in any way I would ask you to fill out a little questionnaire I put together. Search the Gorham SiteClick the graphic for the Questionnaire.

I have taken to creating a number of drawings using Xara Xtreme. Some of these are people/cars/animals whatever. Click on the logo above to see what I have created or use the menu below to select a specific drawing. (Note: The Links are not active yet but will be shortly.) For the time being you can access some of the work via the graphic at the top.
